-Name: Cavan Leland Dioni.
He’ll probably never tell you his middle name.
-Age: 16
-DoB/PoB: April 26/Idonia,
Adeth.
-Status/Occupation: His
family is middling nobility. They’re not ‘omg, uber powerful!’ but they have enough power to get by and
go to Court if they see fit. His family’s in the plot against the king, but one of the smaller roles. Cavan personally
never has anything to do with it, though he is aware of its existence.
-Appearance:
-Hair: It’s black, soft, and falling to about his neck; it’s constantly in his eyes but he likes it. When
he’s ashamed or embarrassed, he tends to hang his head to let his hair hide his face.
-Eyes: They’re a blue-grey color, a little deep-set, but overly pretty average.
-Features: Strong bone-structure, angled face, straight nose, generous mouth.
-Body: He’s tall and lean, and just a little underweight, but not by much. He has numerous scars on his body,
many of them self-inflicted, and a lot of them from someone else. He also has numerous track-marks.
-Clothing: Simple, really. Shirts and breeches, lots of basic colors with little adornment. He doesn't really need clothes
to improve his looks.
-Jewelery/Weapons: He
wears rings and necklaces, but little else/He has a dagger he keeps on his belt.
-Personality: Carefree,
flirty, reckless, and friendly. He's open-minded, and doesn't give a damn about what others think of him; this tends
to make him a lot of friends, as oppposed to enemies. He has a bit of an arrogant streak, but this is mostly in fun. He's
a good person to talk to; he listens to anyone who needs to talk, he's understanding, and very aware of others feelings. This
is partly because all that carefree attitude is predominantly an act. Inside, he's pretty broken. He's naturally distrustful
of everyone, and if you think you know him, you probably don't. He has essentially no self-confidence, and he's also
self-destructive; he likes it, in a morbid way. His humor is dark and cynical, and he often lets that side show. He's borderline
suicidal. He keeps everything bottled up and never lets anyone sees weaknesses. It's all his defense. He is violent to those
who upset him, but he'll never hit a girl. He does have an honor code, and couldn't force anyone to ever do anything.
-Strengths: Caring, friendly,
understanding, and a good listener. Beneath all that depression is defintely a good person. He could take any sceret to the
grave, and he's pretty damn loyal. He's a good fencer and a decent rider. He's also a good artist, though mostly only with
people.
-Weaknesses: He's obviously
a little screwed up, emotionally. He's distrustful, easily hurt, but will never show it. He has a problem with committment,
and can't really let people in. He's trying desperately not to rely too much on drugs, but it's only kind of working.
-Magic: Telekinetic,
and pretty damn strong. He also, to a lesser extent, can manipulate sound. He very very rarely uses either, though.
-Friends: Niamh, Summer,
Meghan, lots of others. He mingles well with all the different crowds.
-Enemies: I'm sure he
has a few, probably mostly guys.
-Significant Other: He's
managed to - unexpectedly - fall in love with Niamh Kelly. It's almost a strange thing but he considers her one of the best
things in his life.
-Family: Really really
bad subject for him. You'll find out why.
-Father: Ulric Dioni, age 40. He's an ass; selfish, sadistic, cruel, and violent. Cavan absolutely hates him with a passion,
and has often thought about murdering him. And quite seriously.
-Mother: Edeline Dioni. Weak-willed when put against Ulric, but pretty cruel and distant to her children all the same. She's
vain and self-serving, and really only cares about her youngest.
-Sisters: Even Dioni, age 16. Cavan loves her completely, and they have something of an odd relationship (not really like....that).
She's pretty much the only person he'll really talk to, and he's as protective of her as she is him. She's also at Whispers.
Lilith Dioni, age 10. She's a spoiled brat, she really is. For some reason, Edeline took a shine to her, and absolutely doted
on her. Until very recently, Lilith used to be the spoiled brat of the family and tended to grate on Cavan and Even's nerves.
Lately, though, her and Cavan have been getting much closer. She, too, attends Whispers.
-History: A really depressing
one. Cavan never really had a good childhood, even before things with his father got bad. It wasn't necessarily violent, just
cold. His parents were never affectionate, although Cavan got the whole 'you're my heir' lecture once every few days. Things
changed when he hit twelve, though. He managed to walk in on Ulric with Even - in a completely inappropriate way. After that,
both he and Even lived in fear of him. Cavan will pretty much never admit it, but Ulric did sexually abuse them both; he started
taking refuge in drugs at 13, though then it was mostly just drinking. He got it into his head that it's his fault, and he's
extremely ashamed of the whole thing. Edeline knew about it, but did nothing, so long as Ulric didn't touch Lilith. Cavan
managed to get himself accepted to Whispers, and he's ashamed of how he did so. He used his telekinetic gift to slam someone
into a wall hard enough they were knocked unconcious, claiming he couldn't control it when he could fully (or at least to
the extent where he wasn't a danger.) He left reluctantly, knowing he'd be leaving Even there, but she managed to get
sent there too. He stays at the convent, and only goes home when called. When he's home, though, it's just like before, but
he tends to blank out his mind so it's like he's watching everything happen to someone else.
